East Sussex School Improvement Service
The CfBT East Sussex School Improvement Service (SIS) works in
partnership with East Sussex County Council. The service provides
advice and guidance to schools on a range of issues which focus on:
raising standards of achievement for pupils of all abilities;
improving the quality of education provided; and improving
leadership and management. It is committed to securing the very
best educational opportunity and experience for every East Sussex
pupil and student.
The service offers a broad portfolio of training and
support which schools can purchase. It also facilitates the
development of networked learning communities
and dissemination of effective practice.
The service provides information about training and development
opportunities for support staff to help schools and their staff
make informed decisions about their continuing professional
development.
