I am the Speech and Language Therapy Assistant employed by the Health Authority but based at the school. I have worked for the Health authority for 11years.

I completed an extensive 2 year training programme with the health authority, and have attended many courses on various subjects over the years to continually update my skills.

Impact of the training on your job role.

It is absolutely essential to keep up to date with latest research and training to ensure that the clients receive the very best service, and for me to be confident to deliver programmes and work with classroom staff, teachers and parents.
