Cleaning staff and SWiS

My name is Nancy Ripley and I am a cleaner at The Bishop Bell CE School. I attended an Inset Day at a local Hotel along with five other members of the cleaning team on Thursday 8 February 2007.

Sally Franceschi and Sue Roberts, the trainers, talked about professional development and training courses available. We were all given lots of information and were able to ask as many questions as we liked. The training sessions were really well organised by Sue and Sally.

Most of all I really enjoyed getting to know all the staff better, the training sessions provided, the great food that we all enjoyed, the good surroundings at the Hotel and a really relaxed atmosphere.

All cleaning staff who attended the Inset Day found the training very interesting. We are now doing a VQ level 2 in Support Work in Schools and are all really enjoying it!
