Learning Mentors

A learning mentor works towards removing barriers to learning by working in a one to one or group work setting.

They can also work on many other areas throughout the school, and liaise closely with other outside agencies and families.

They are increasing across Sussex with 26 already in place in West Sussex , throughout primary and secondary schools in the Hayward’s Heath area. Learning Mentors are also very established in East Sussex Hastings Excellence Cluster and increasing across the authority.  They are also available in  Brighton & Hove.
